My Story
I grew up in Newport Beach, California in the 1970s – what an exciting time. My father worked for Bill Lear and had been the inventing engineer of the 8-track music system. He later became the president of Bill’s company. I was surrounded by smart engineers and executives. I miss those days.
Around age 15, I fell in love with things that crept in the night. I began voraciously reading Stephen King and Dean Koontz, and thanks to my across-the-street neighbor, Helen Goodnight, I began writing short stories. For me, the raw creativity of it was like freedom – to a prisoner. This is what I wanted to do with my life.
I spent 30 of my adult years as a software engineer and entrepreneur, but I never got over my relentless desire to be an author. At 49 I wrote my first novel, Final Remains. It was the most incredible (girthy) thing I had ever done. About 5 months later I began my second in the series – Infernal Remains – and completed it in 4 months. I’m writing my third in the series now, while publishing other authors’ books via the company my partner and I built, Pandoren Publishing Group. Life is good.

Final Remains: Dawn of the Knights Errant
Jack and Nate hit the road on their new Indian Chief cruisers, ready for the freedom of a long-awaited, cross-country ride. But their journey takes a harrowing twist when a brutal accident catapults them across the veil into a shadowy realm, where evil thrives and reality bends to nightmares.
Now bound to an otherworldly fate, the two friends face an impossible choice: remain dead and accept the unknown, or agree to the terrifying mission that awaits them—hunting demons hidden in the human world. Changed forever, Jack and Nate must rely on each other as they navigate a dark path of sacrifice, courage, and supernatural forces they never dreamed were real.
Infernal Remains: Rise of the Tormentors
The Knights Errant are back in action in this gruesomely satisfying, second installment of the Invasion Hell series.
Jack, Nate, Tabby, Rachel, and Curt are back in action, and they’re in for the ride of their lives. A ride that will take them from the safety of their M/C clubhouse, to the empty and decaying piers that line the San Francisco Bay. It will take them from an old mill site located high in the foothills of Northern California, to an evil-infested, abandoned lunatic asylum and its horrifying operating theater. And it will take them from a world they know and love, to the absolute desolation and torment of Hell itself.
